Hi guys,

Went to Asian Aerospace today and shot almost all the subjects there. Particularly interesting on the SADA is the CRJ900 which is a bloody long aircraft. As for other aircraft, some of you may have seen them on their previous visits to Asian Aerospace, so no big deal there. Oh, the Q400 was not present.

I would like to take this chance to thank Airbus for the 45 minute tour of the A380 aircraft. Beautiful flight deck, very informative tour and it was a real eye opener to see the interior of the test aircraft.

Of cos, all these being said, pictures must accompany. Will do that once my 2GB worth of images are downloaded Smile

This afternoon (21 Feb), F-WWDD was taken out for a spin . . . carrying onboard several SIA pilots who probably are handling a real A380 for the first time.

Against all expectations, it took off from runway 02C . . . and after a short time, it landed on the same runway and backtracked along the taxiway for another take-off . . . perhaps making up for the earlier missed photo opportunity.

It's tough to concentrate when you know that the A380 is going buzz around the airport. Found out the the A380 pushed back....and finally meeting's over (at least for me), and was dashing out when an SMS informed that the aircraft turned for NC1. In no man's land, did some quick thinking and rushed to the T2 rooftop parking lots and was just in time for this shots:

Quick thinking on your feet Kwek!!! And nice shots as a reward for that. Thanks Kwek, Tsen Tsan, Eric and others for bits and pieces of A380 movement updates during the day.

Just to share a few more shots from today's A380 activities :

During its aerial display, it was possible to view it from all angles - side profile, top view, belly view etc. Here's my take on the A380's belly.
