One of the highlights for many of us when spotting at Changi Coast Road in the past was the early morning arrival of a Singapore Airlines B747-400 from New York via Frankfurt. 9V-SPP with the old Star Alliance livery was photographed moments from touching down on runway 02C in December 2006 on a clear Saturday morning.

A single USAF Boeing C-17 Globemaster III performed daily during the morning aerial display at the Singapore Airshow 2012 and showed off its impressive low speed handling capabilities and agile tactical manoevures to the crowd.
